: Rather than fix its own serious problems, Mexico exports them to the United States. America is Mexico's welfare state. Mexico a corrupt kleptocracy whose economy is based on oil, drugs, and remittances sent from its more functional northern neighbor. We should treat it like the hostile foreign power it is. #Tucker

Republicans in Congress refusing to fund all wall, so the president announced today he plans to send the military to guard America’s border with Mexico. The announcement was sparked by a convoy of more than a thousand Central Americans that has been making its way through Mexico towards this country.

Mexico’s government claimed on Monday to have broken up the convoy and deported 400 people in it. The people that are actually running that convoy say otherwise. One of them told Buzzfeed, quote, “Don’t be fooled. The government isn’t disbanding it. It’s conceding its participants the right to apply for asylum while traveling in the shadows.”

Either way, we have no reason to trust the good intentions of the Mexican government. In 2017, the Mexican foreign ministry published a video encouraging Mexican citizens to break American immigration law. It advised them not to open their doors to federal authority. It told them to hide the fact that they’re there illegally.

And it was not the first on the Mexican government has done this. In 2004, the government printed and distributed more than a million-and-a-half pamphlets telling Mexicans how to enter this country illegally and live here without being detained. It even had tips telling what clothes to wear when crossing a river, presumably the Rio Grande. Recently Mexico filed an amicus brief protesting Texas’ sanctuary city bill.

The Mexican foreign minister has called for illegal aliens in this country to receive legal status and denounced the border wall as, quote, “a hostile act.”

Hostile? Mexico is the hostile power here. Just today, former Mexican President Vicente Fox tweeted that Trump is, quote, “enemy number one of Mexico.” He then retweeted someone else who suggested that if a dispute does happen, Trump will, quote, “probably give back the state of California.” The implication, of course, is that Mexico really owns California.

In a 2017 poll, 65 percent of Mexicans say they viewed the United States unfavorably. Forty-two percent viewed America very unfavorably. None of this should be confusing or a surprise. Rather than fix its own problems, which are serious, the Mexican government imports them north to this country.

They get angry if we hinder that process in any way. Mexico is, in fact, using the United States as an outlet for its poor, using our government as its welfare system. Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein said that out loud back in 1993. She wouldn’t say today, but it’s still true.

Mexicans of this country sent home more than $26 billion in the first 11 months of 2017 — the highest amount ever. Remittances are one of that country’s biggest sources of foreign cash — bigger than even than oil exports and that’s saying a lot.

The Mexican government is a corrupt kleptocracy, whose economy is based on oil, drugs, and remittances sent from its functional northern neighbor. That would be us.

It’s one of its most unequal and racially biased countries in the world. And yet somehow, our mindless guilt-ridden media say it’s racist to criticize the government of Mexico, which again is a racist government run by the way an overwhelmingly white elite that went to American Ivy League schools.

This is insane. Mexico isn’t sacred. It’s a country, good and bad. But for the purposes of this conversation, it is a hostile foreign power whose interests are very different than ours, and we should treat it such because it is.

It’s about time someone calls Mexico out on this. They may not be a classic enemy, but these are not the actions of a friend or ally.
The President is a fink.

I think it is funny that you would say "it's about time" as some variation of this speech has been circulating for about half a century ever since the US immigration laws were changed in 1966.

The reality is that in Mexico you hear a constant barrage of public service announcements on the radio imploring people not to illegally immigrate into the US. The warnings are that they will be exploited and they should stay in Mexico and try and build the country up.

========================================
But the immigration from Mexico to the USA reached a peak 20-30 years ago. Guatemala which borders Mexico, has the highest fertility rate in the Americas by some calculations.

CIA Total fertility rates
Total fertility rate (TFR) compares figures for the average number of children that would be born per woman if all women lived to the end of their childbearing years and bore children according to a given fertility rate at each age. TFR is a more direct measure of the level of fertility than the crude birth rate, since it refers to births per woman.

WEST SIDE STORY (1957) :AMERICA (FILM) LYRICS - ANITA
Puerto Rico
My heart's devotion
Let it sink back in the ocean
Always the hurricanes blowing
Always the population growing
And the money owing
And the sunlight streaming
And the natives steaming
I like the island Manhattan
Smoke on your pipe
And put that in!

The famous 19 page pamphlet (link enclosed) published in 2005 was an attempt by the Mexican government to reduce the loss of life. It was not a recommendation to cross illegally.

It states very clearly that the safe way to enter another country is to obtain a passport and a visa.

Introduction
This guide tries to provide you with some practical advice that may be useful to you in case you have made the difficult decision to seek new work opportunities outside of your own country.

The safe way of entering another country is by first obtaining your passport, which is issued by the Delegations of the Secretariat of Foreign Relations, and your visa, which you request at the Embassy or Consulate of the country to where you wish to travel.

However, we actually see many cases of Mexicans who try to cross the northern border without the necessary documentation, crossing high-risk zones that are very dangerous, especially in desert areas or rivers with strong and not always noticeable currents.

As you read this guide you can also learn some basic questions about legal consequences of your stay in the United States of America without appropriate immigration documents, as well as the rights you have in that country once you are there, independently of your immigration status.

Always keep in mind that there are mechanisms for you to enter the United States of America legally.
In any case, if you encounter problems or difficulties, remember that Mexico has 45 Consulates at its disposal in that country, whose contact information you also can find in this publication.

Identify your Consulate and go to it.

===================
Risks
Crossing the river can be very dangerous, especially if you cross at night or alone. Wet cloths will stick to your chest and make it difficult to swim or float.
If you cross the desert, walk at times when the heat is not so intense. The roads and towns a very far apart, therefor, you will not be able to access new water and food for several days. Make sure you pack enough in case you get lost. Water with salt serves to replenish your body's liquids. If you are thirsty, drink water with a little bit of salt (Then it talks about signs of dehydration). Finally, if you are lost, follow light poles, roads, and train tracks.
===================

Caution with Coyotes
(Coyotes are people who's business is illegally transporting across the border)

They can trick you, saying they can get you across in hours through the desert or mountains. This is not true. They can risk your life by passing through rivers, river beds, deserts, train tracks, and high speed roadways. This has caused the deaths of hundreds.

If you decide to recruit a Coyote, follow these tips:
- Don't let him out of your sight; remember that he's the only one that knows the terrain and therefore is the one that can get you out.
- Don't trust anything he gives you to bring with you, including a vehicle or package. Don't drive the vehicle if he asks you to.These could contain drugs.
- If you transport another person you can be confused for a coyote, and can be accused of human trafficking or vehicular robbery.

-Don't give your small children to people you don't know to cross the border.
Don't use fake papers
If you intend to cross using fake papers, read the following:

Using fake papers is a federal offense in the unites states, and you can be placed in a prison. Also, don't give a fake name, or say you are a citizen of the US, when you aren't.

If you are detained
Don't resist arrest.
Don't aggravate or insult the officials.
Don't throw stuff at the officials, because this can be seen as assault/provocation. If you aggravate the officials, they will probably use force to detain you.
Raise you hands slowly, and don't carry anything that could be perceived as a weapon.
Don't run or try to escape.
Don't hide in dangerous areas.
Don't cross high velocity motorways.
Its better to be detained and deported to mexico, than be lost in the desert.

Your Rights Section:

Give your full and legal name. If you are a minor and came with your guardian, tell the authorities not to separate you two.

Your rights include:
- To know where you are
- You can ask for assistance from the nearest Mexican consulate.
- Don't sign confess or sign any documents, especially if they are in English, without consulting representatives of the Mexican consulate and a lawyer.
- You get medical attention if you need it.
- You are to be respected and treated fairly despite the status of your immigration.
- To move safely
- You should get access to food and water when you need it.
- you aren't required to give your migratory status if you are detained.

If Mexico scares the US so badly, the prospect of North Korean ICBMs must have America literally petrified. Better to get a less hysterical country to handle that matter.

Here's an idea: place a single brown-skinned person outside every polling site in America for the midterm elections. They won't be doing or saying anything, just standing there. The result will be to frighten the GOP snowflakes off the polls, ergo Monster Blue Wave.
