OnceDear Member since: Nov 21, 2017 Threads: 11 Posts: 1510 | Welcome aboard GF. If you haven't played with us before, I'll be happy to run you through the practicalities of our game variant. We have some pretty good detectives playing. Note the two extra corridors added: They were to eliminate a bit of a problem where we would all be stumbling around to identify the room, making for a slow endgame. We also have an extra day of week variable, to make note taking so much tougher. Where we have dummy players, the order of preference of showing their cards has now been randomised. If you haven't played before, one of the tricky bits is knowing how far you could travel on a move: two steps, where one step takes you outside the room you are in, and the next takes you outside another room. from outside a room, you have enough steps in a move to get to the rooms either side. Consider playing through a previous game to perfect your note taking: Miplet generally provides a readout of the cards after the game. |
