Anybody following Goya Foods story.
Last Friday big Hispanic CEO of Goya
praised President Trump to the heavens in
the Rose Garden because of Trump's
policies regarding minority business. Goya
is the largest Hispanic owned company
in the US, so of course AOC went
outright insane and called for an
immediate boycott of Goya products.

Guess what, conservatives all over
nation made Goya products disappear.
Their sales are skyrocketing. There's
a GoFundMe that raised $175K in
just 3 days to give Goya food to the
homeless. Talk about a backfire on
a boycott. AOC makes an ass of herself
again.

Something is going on with minorities.
There is a silent support for Trump
growing daily. They know what Trump
has done for their communities and
remember that Biden/Barry did absolutely
nothing.

I'm not following the Goya story but have read a few blips. I was already a customer of theirs, that's where I get my yellow peas. I hope they don't buy them all. I've also always like Great Northern beans. It bummed me when this virus hit and so many people hit the stores buying up every staple they could think of, tp, rice and dang it beans. The local stores were picked clean of all the pasta, rice and beans.

It's like an epidemic had to hit America for folks to decide they want to clear the shelves of beans. It took me several days to find a seller that sells bulk. I didn't really want a twenty pound bag of GN beans but that's what I ended up with. Yellow peas get hard to find during normal times. Bob's Red Mill was out of product.

I got into prepping about 7 years ago, and that is the first thing people think to stock up on, rice and beans. Show I follow the guy says, "do you love rice and beans that much?" When you learn to prep you learn to stock what you eat more of. But all those prep newbies clean out the rice and beans.

OTOH, I did get some Goya spanish rice. Good stuff!

It was all an elaborate plan by lefties to force Trumpsters to eat crappy beans. It worked.



This is why the right is currently losing so badly. We’ve got a raging pandemic in this country, and y’all are pretending it’s not happening and instead focused on beans and statues.
