When I was still under age 10 (or somewhere abouts) I walked with a small group of neighborhood kids down to the local quik mart. On the way back, one of the kids pulled out of his pocket "Redman" chewing tobacco, he had stolen. He put some in his mouth, and in a couple minutes he was throwing up on the road.

Of course, no one else was interested in trying it if they were before. The stomach acid left a stain on the road for months afterwards.

(No I have not done a math breakdown, this is just speaking ancedotally:)

But, I feel like anytime there is a story anywhere in the world of some crazy old person, they are a smoker. And, often other unhealthy habits (lots of soda, alcohol, etc...)

Maybe, the people with bodies resilient enough to withstand that kind of abuse for so long would live long anyway so it is kind of a self fulfilling prophesy?

There is always some kind of joke like, "Mr. Smith's secret to such longevity, drink Dr. Pepper and enjoy a cigarette."

To be clear, I am not saying people should smoke or that smoking is even a factor, it is just an amusing observation.

As for their brand, I am sure it is some Soviet brand that no longer exists anymore (Russians had their own cigs in those days.)

A 135 year old woman or man would be in th record books as the longest lived human ever. Such a person did not and does not exist.

I think I would have failed [or at least not answered completely correct] a test question that asked 'what is the difference between an asteroid, a meteoroid, a meteor, and a meteorite?'

I got on to this reading an article where the reporter used 'meteorite' in a way that I thought didn't make sense, and I was right, then I started wondering about all the terms myself
