In which category? Personal preference, sad songs, bad cover, or overused?

I like it better than John Fogerty's version.

I was at a music festival
Between bands the soundboard guy plays CD's over the sound system
I was hearing Led Zeppelin songs played by bluegrass musicians
Sounded great, spoke to the soundboard guy
He showed me the CD he was playing
Picking Led
Went online and bought it. Love it

There's a bunch in the "Pickin' On" series. Pickin on Pink Floyd is my fave...

They do tons. RHCP, Offspring, Foo Fighters... pretty much everything. Don't stop with Led =)
Be bold and risk defeat, or be cautious and encourage it.

It has potential. I liked it the first listen, but I will have to play a few more times. When I was a kid I used to listen to CCR all the time.

When I was a kid, I didn't even know they existed!

Also, simply for recording "Total Eclipse of the Heart" and "Here She Comes," I regard Bonnie Tyler as exceptional.

For some reason I had this idea she was Canadian. Recently I found out she's Welsh.

No discussion of Bad Cover songs wold be complete without mentioning Richard Cheese - Lounge Against the Machine, lounge music covers of Radiohead, GnR, Nirvana and others.

And Dread Zeppelin, a bunch of Elvis impersonators who sing Zeppelin songs with a reggae beat.

Dorogoi dlinnoyu was a Russian song written in 1924. The Welsh sing Mary Hopkins (age 66) pushed it to #1 on British pop charts in 1968

Katherine Jenkins (age 36) is another Welsh singer who does crossover with light opera, classical, and diva standards. A Freddy Mercury classic

Specifically, Richard Cheese covering Snoop Dog's "Gin & Juice".
