Brazil had 60,000 firearm deaths in 2014. The US had 8,000 and we have a 150% larger population. Who could look at these stats and possibly think we have a gun 'problem' in the US. 5 people an hour are shot and killed in Brazil. Now that's a problem. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Ironic? I follow sports for entertainment This race had it all, high stakes, strategy, danger, crashes, thrilling finish with an American in the mix. I was entertained, that's what its all about The gold medal channel is great, jumping to wherever gold medals are being contested live Went from fencing to weight lifting to diving to archery Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

"The second night of NBC primetime coverage is off 32 percent from the comparable showing four years ago." That's a huge number of people that NBC collected money from advertisers for.
