Check out this sentence from the just-adopted 2016 party platform-Texas Republican Party :



Grammar police says that sentence implies: "Homosexual behavior has been ordained by God in the Bible."

The 2014 version of the platform used a plural instead of a singular (changing the meaning entirely).
Homosexuality- Homosexuality is a chosen behavior that is contrary to the fundamental unchanging truths that have been ordained by God in the Bible, recognized by our nation’s founders, and shared by the majority of Texans. Homosexuality must not be presented as an acceptable alternative lifestyle, in public policy, nor should family be redefined to include homosexual couples. We believe there should be no granting of special legal entitlements or creation of special status for homosexual behavior, regardless of state of origin. Additionally, we oppose any criminal or civil penalties against those who oppose homosexuality out of faith, conviction, or belief in traditional values.

Its common knowledge that TX is populated by steers and queers
If you live in TX and you are not a steer, well, then you are a queer

I wonder when the Texas GOP plans to leave the 1950s and rejoin the modern world.

I would not expect anyone with views as hateful and bigoted as those to be able to use English properly.

All it is really saying is people should not be criminally punished because intolerant gays disagree with someone who does not support and accept their lifestyle choice.

Its not a chosen behavior.

Its lawful and acceptable by the majority of the country
That's intolerance on the right

Its not a chosen behavior.

It is a chosen behavior. You pick who you have a relationship with. The fact that homophiles say it is not chosen shows they know something is wrong with it as a choice. As for intolerance. gay activists are the most intolerant people out there.
