The Apostle's Creed in Latin would be much older than the Protestant Reformation.

Credo in Spiritum Sanctum,
sanctam Ecclesiam catholicam, sanctorum communionem,
remissionem peccatorum,
carnis resurrectionem,
vitam aeternam.

I didn't mean to indicate I thought it originated at the time of the Reformation ... without looking it up, I believe it goes back to the second/third century or so, something called the council of Nicea [??] where a lot of things were nailed down. This included essential things that Christians should believe [the creed] and what books were proper Scripture and which weren't [the Apocrypha]
I'm Still Standing, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah [it's an old guy chant for me]
