Could have taken me to the cleaners :-)

A very close friend of mine is a Trump supporter and very loud about it to me and his boss at work
His boss told my buddy, If Trump ever becomes President, he will give my buddy his weeks paycheck because he was so confident it would never happen
Well his boss wanted to honor the obligation after the election but said he needed to make spread out payments
My buddy kindly declined any money
His boss sent him a couple hundred anyway
