I thought those were really cheap and quite easily available. that is, you don't need a prescription and you don't need to wait for the lenses to be precisely ground to some custom specification. My problem is I tend to bring them along when I won't really need them, just in case I do need them. So I tend to casually misplace them in the process. The one advantage of myopia is you can focus up close like a hawk :) There's a coworker who needs glasses in order to read. If he doesn't have them, he needs to hold the reading material rather far away. If I held it that far away, it would get blurry to my left eye!
