Watching the Showtime series Dexter...I am really getting into this.

Michael C. Hall's contract negotiations for the last two season almost didn't get resolved. Showtime had offered M.C.H. $20 million for two more seasons, but the star wanted $24 million. Not sure what they settled on.

It is possible to be paid huge amounts of money to actors for shows that are not supported by advertising. Ratings for a show like this are much lower than almost any show on ABC/CBS/NBC, but they have long shelf life. I was surprised that Showtime would sell their hits to Netflix as they have their own streaming services.

I made it to the titles. Pretty ridiculous.

Gave up on Breaking Bad after a couple seasons. I just hated everybody. may go back if I get really bored.

Dexter rocks
Totally addicted, just watched season 1 and 2

Just watched Electric Boogaloo, the wild untold story of Cannon Films
This was a hoot
Gotta remember these guys, Golan and Globus.
Although they made a lot of cheesy films, loved Runaway Train, one of my all time favorites

The top 4 are unwatchable. Netflix produces
mostly shite, we really have no idea how many
people are watching because they don't tell
us. On the list Bloodline is the only one I still
watch. H of C lost me with a crap 3rd season.
Bloodline will probably lose me with a crap
2nd season.

Star Wars ep. 4 is out on Netflix.

I have the full non-original (remastered) trilogy on DVD, so...

BTW, Han shot first.

Master of None is right up there with
Kimmy Schmidt and Last Man on Earth.
Comedy 4 year olds can understand.

Survivor is a thriller that was bashed badly by the critics. It isn't a groundbreaking film, but I thought it moved along nicely and it was fun to watch.

Reminds me of a female version of "Three Days of the Condor".

Milla Jovovich ... Kate Abbott
Pierce Brosnan ... Nash
Dylan McDermott ... Sam Parker
Roger Rees ... Emil Balan

Just watched it.
It did move along nicely and kind of fun to watch. Nice to see Robert Forster.
But

As she is barely escaping a deadly killer several times, and wanted by police, breaking into our embassy, access computers and get out and able to travel across the Atlantic to save NYC all by herself. No help from a super dumb ambassador.
Just so implausible.

3 days of the condor was great. Very realistic. Cant say the same for Survivor.
