Watching a new series on Prime called Hunters. It's
about Nazi hunters in the US in the late 70s. Stars
Al Pacino, and a bunch of other pretty good actors.

So far I'm really enjoying it, shows and movies about
Nazi hunting have gone out of style. I'm betting a lot
of people born after 1980 don't know very much
about what the Nazis did. All the Nazi Hunters, most
of them anyway, are Jews. So the Jews are the
heroes. of the series.

Prime is available all over Europe, Germany is their
biggest European market. I wonder how this is going
to do in Germany. Because it's really showing how evil
and barbaric the white supremacist Nazis were.
And anti-semitism is at a decades high all over
Europe. If you read the comments section, it's split
50/50 between 5 star reviews and 1 star reviews.
The comments are almost as entertaining as the show.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

I have a low opinion of Nflix orig
productions, as I've said many
times. They have a new movie
with Mark Whalburg, so I thought
I'd try it. Oh my dear god. It's
so horribly bad I can't watch more
than 20 min of it. 3rd night last
night, more than half done, and
I still have no idea what it's about.
Terrible story, awful acting, non
existent production values. Whalburg
has made some good movies, he
isn't even trying here. He's just
showing up and saying his lines.

It's like his agent got him this movie,
said they could shoot it in a week,
and he squeezed it in against
his will.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

Mark Wahlberg is hit or miss with his feature films as well. Critically it seems his last 9 films got 5 bad ratings and 4 good ones.

2020 Spenser Confidential - Spenser 39%
2018 Instant Family -Pete 81%
2018 Mile 22 - James Silva 23%
2017 All the Money in the World - Fletcher Chace 79%
2017 Daddy's Home 2 - Dusty 21%
2017 Transformers: The Last Knight - Cade Yeager 15%
2016 Patriots Day - Tommy Saunders 80%
2016 Deepwater Horizon - Mike Williams 83%
2015 Daddy's Home - Dusty Mayron 31%

Netflix films have a lot of hits (Sandra Bullock in Bird Box) for every miss (Will Smith in Bright)

Wow, I am so out of touch with the entertainment industry. The only one of those movies that I have ever heard of was Transformers.
At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent.

Tiger King on Netflix

Documentary about some eccentric big cat owners and an animal rights activist who they despise.

Everyone involved seems effing nuts.

One episode in and I’m hooked.
