I ain't never seen one advertized at more than four feet square.

This one is 40 feet tall and 20 feet wide. It applies layers of clay to form the structure. There are others that spray concrete like your dot matrix printer sprays ink.

They now have these bottom up printers that can run continuous objects.

All "printed" drones have flown, all spare parts for some military equipment is now being carried on a computer disk instead of on trucks.

Engine parts of great strength and fine tolerances are being churned out regularly.

The vision is that instead of an industrial revolution based on factories this is an industrial revolution based on garage printers and all parts and plans being in Cyberspace.

ON EDIT

They finally have a 30meter yacht the hull of which is entirely 3d printed.

Instead of printing solely plastic resins they are now printing metal which makes on the spot manufacturing fast reliable and cheap.
