Admittedly I pulled those numbers by doing a really quick scan. However, by double checking the list I saw, I still find high 30's - low 40's currently captive and alive, worldwide. Extending that search into captive-but-now-deceased, I find 32 more that were held and have now died. This in a list that goes back to the 1960's and relies on Wiki accuracy. So in over 50 years, we've held less than 80 all told. 50 of those were captive born and could not be released. So in 50+ years, we've disturbed ~30 natural specimens. 30 out of 50,000+, over the span of 50 years. That's the cost. What has that cost resulted in? Just the fact that terapined is sad about Droopy means their efforts have reached him. AZD knows about dolphin nettings, that's two. I know, that's three. Someone here (Mosca? DRich?) wrote about attending last year, I think. That's four. We're quickly nearing a majority as far as the DT population goes. How much further concern or appreciation has been garnered as a direct result of engaging in this "evil"? I dunno exactly. But I do know that the story extends far further than a 90 minute smear campaign. Be bold and risk defeat, or be cautious and encourage it. |

Yeah, it's legal to impregnate a female pig without her consent, it's legal to separate her from her piglets (kidnapping) without her consent, it's legal to keep her trapped and confined in a cage too small for her to turn around. And (obviously) it's legal to slaughter her. But you know what's not legal? Letting a dog lick your genitals. That's animal abuse, you sicko! |

Not least as there's a big tourism component to seeing orcas in the wild here, as well Tillikum coming from Sea World of the Pacific originally (you can't see any of the remains of his pen or the tourist attraction left at the old site... I've looked and can't tell there was ever any pens). I dunno, I figure there's some things best seen in the wild, and Orcas are one of those. It is said that your life flashes before your eyes just before you die.... it's called Life |

There was another one awhile back where a guy was having sex with his girlfriend's dog when his girlfriend was out of the house. Of course he was having sex with her too. "Trumpsplain (def.) explaining absolute nonsense said by TRUMP. |

I still don't have any stakes here. But that seems like a low number. For a time I was interested in dolphins, but not any more. Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |

And you people laugh when I say society is doomed. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |
