Also another phrase that has survived, but I am not quite so certain that the Trojan Horse did not actually exist. A siege was often broken by a false retreat followed by a careless sorty by the now over confident besieged. Getting someone inside to over power the guards at the gate was commonly attempted. Of course it would have been a very large ornate horse and some well concealed compartment, but if the Trojan soldiers were all drunkenly celebrating their victory, a small quiet force could work wonders. One thing is surely certain... they didn't fight for ten years over some abducted broad. |

Also there are certain fish stings that male urine will be an antidote for in the tropics. And I've written here before about sleep apnea, it is really a disease of the kidneys which extract urea from the blood. |
