Recap? Why bother. Last season was so bad I'm waiting half a dozen and will watch it back to back on Xfinity. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Ever notice everything has to be explained to you? On X I can FF thru boring parts, like any scene with the lady lawyer in it. Most scenes that don't have Mike in them, in fact. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

You don’t have to wait till several episodes have aired to be able to fast forward through an episode. You could start watching 30 minutes after the episode starts and be able to fast forward through all the parts you’re not interested in an episode... “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

As usual with you, more explaining. If I wait for 5 in the can, I can do several ep's at a time. I don't usually watch any show in real time, why I did that with BCS is a mystery. The only real time TV I watch is during dinner when I have the Food Network on. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

So it sucks already? Bad enough we sat thru season after season of Chuck's non story.. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

I’ll let you know after tonight. We got the Jimmy & Kim and the Gus/Mike/Lalo/Nacho stories. Neither one gets any traction when they have to share 45 minutes, or 70 like last night. You and I like a lot of similar movies and shows, and similar things about those. I give the slow parts of BCS a higher grade than you do, because after all we are different. But man, we share the same frustration: Great camera work, but tell the freakin’ story already. Mrs and I are watching Mad Men. Damn is it great. Halfway through season 2. |

Just a little different locale and area of the law. But I don't sell burner phones. Yet. That said, the first episode of Season 5 was perfect IMO. The key to this show is that - like so often in real life and the law biz - the 'payoff' is slow to materialize. The payoff scenes in BCS are always developed with exquisite precision, and never too quickly. As I was once again this year explaining to my wife the meaning behind the initial 'future story' at the commencement of each season, I was reminded of how working retail is what every lawyer thinks about when having a bad day. And we all most definitely get them. |
