LOL! You know what they've been taught
about Catholics, it's not even Christianity.
All the same to me, though.

You've learned enough on this forum to dispel some of the falsehoods. Tell them we don't worship idols, we believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, we honor Mary only in the way Jesus did, the Pope is not a god nor does he speak infallibly on everything he says, and that you are not at all ostracized or exiled if you are divorced.

They have been told all their lives that
being Catholic is about as close to
devil worship as you can get. I don't
pay attention to it, as I said it's all
the same to me. My wife's family are
hard core Baptists, don't even get
them started on Catholics. I told
my wife we had a discussion going
with a priest and she was highly
amused. She had half a dozen questions
for you, all of them cutting and snide.

Christians..

Speaking if the devil, I've not heard you
mention Satan even once. Has the Church
finally given up on scaring people with him?

Bob maybe you should start a new thread with your wife's questions I would be happy to answer them. I believe if people really learned about the Church and her teachings their wouldn't be so much cutting and snide comments from atheists or especially from sister Christians.
