https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4axOtpkT_EU Actually, Bethany Mota is very talented. She'll turn age 19 in three days, and she is already estimated to be earning half a million dollars a year. She released a record last month and has survived 7 eliminations in the 13 couples competing in Dancing with the Stars competition. |

I saw your advertisement for this board on wizard of vegas. There doesn't seem to be as much activity here tho. What's the theme of this board? |

This campaign ran from May 2006 to October 2009 for 66 TV ads (15 of them in the above video), but it's odd that the concept of social networking wasn't mentioned. With everyone reporting on the twitterverse today, it seems funny that wasn't mentioned. I know facebook was founded in 2004, but I can't really remember when it became ubiquitous. |

Thanks for stopping by. No theme, Post anything you want, any subject, and you might get some interesting reactions. Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

When Michael started the Wizard of Odds about 14 years ago, he had a contact list where people could submit questions, and he would choose some to answer in a monthly letter called Ask the Wizard. His first answers were all strictly Probability calculations, but very quickly questions about the business began to be asked (do casinos tighten slots on weekends). Within a few months he answered his first non-gambling non-mathematics question.
At some point he augmented the time consuming question and answer format in Wizard of Odds in favor of a forum in Wizard of Vegas. But the non-gaming questions began to overshadow the gambling questions. He created this website to divert most of the non gaming questions. While physics and mathematics questions are welcome here, if you have any gambling questions The Wizard has asked that you post them on Wizard of Vegas. The reason is that the original websites have been sold, and he manages them. |

yep, never get tired of that commercial. one thing that sticks though, is I tried to take up throwing the hammer in track. Absolutely could not keep my balance the proper way, and my modified way caused erratic placement [too many fouls]. so watching the commercial reminds me of my athletic failures too [vbg] I'm Still Standing, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah [it's an old guy chant for me] |
