Its basically electronic cream skimming.

so its efficiently done but screwing someone: the driver/owner, the customer? the cab company.

Florida has always had teh problem with cold weather tradesmen who want to have a business in some snow state but come to Florida during winter and skim the cream by under bidding the competition since its really a three month vacation for him.

Use one electronic service to rent an apartment for a month then use airbnb to re=rent it at five times the amount.

Its like following Pump and Dump penny stocks: buy them on the Pump but sell them well before the dump. Its agility over pennies and over seconds.

but nothing is worth more than its price and loyalty is for chumps. so maybe its the new style.

Uber drive goes on a murder spree. I
don't believe a real cab driver has ever
done this.

Impossible. Upstanding citizens like taxi drivers would never break the law.
At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent.

Totally different. The killings in England
were all planned and targeted, the Uber
shooting was somebody snapping and
killing randomly. In England he could
have been a office manager, it still would
have happened.

So what you are saying is the need for a medallion is imaginary and Uber drivers are equal to cabs?

They were not all planned. He started with a plan, then carried on driving around and shooting other people, from his car.

As a taxi driver. You claimed taxi drivers would never do this. Seems they do. Because people can go crazy in all walks of life and snap, and start shooting.

Oh, and he's not the only taxi driver whose gone on a killing spree. Just the most obvious one, as it was a huge deal in the UK, came straight to mind.

They're illegal unvetted cab drivers, just
what I've always said.

Only "illegal" because cab drivers have it set up to discriminate against anyone who wants to enter the business.

Illegal because there is no fed criminal
check and no drug testing, which every
city of any size has now. Cab driving for
the majority of drivers is a career, it's
not a hobby they do after dinner, when
they feel like it.
