It's getting to be 2013 soon, so I'm starting the early planning. To begin with, I'm wondering whether to keep with tradition and stick with Downtown, or to declare two years is too short for tradition and choose some other area.

Any thoughts?

The date frame rigth now is bewteen May 27th and June 8th 2013.

Yeah, does this really need to be on both boards?

I thought the reason this experiment of 2 boards was commenced was that we were trying to change the signal to noise ratio. This is an example of not doing that.

The risk is that some of us will now be on one board or the other. If someone who is only here wants to attend the Con, this is the only way for them to know of it.

It's a miniscule risk at best. No one that could possibly be interested in WoVCon could not have come over from WoV, and if they no longer visit/post there it seems fair to say they probably aren't interested in WoVCon.

I'm posting mostly here and seem to be interested in WoVCon.

But if you like, I'll just post a daily reminder the WoVCon stuff is at the other board ;P

Personally, I would rather see this discussion in just the WoV. For now, it seems every DT member is also a member at WoV, but not vise versa.

Regarding the location, it doesn't make much difference to me.

Ok. I'm willing to have the thread close dor deleted. But I also reserve the right to post periodic reminders here about WoVCon surveys in the other board.
