How to train your dragon 2 spooks investors

"How to Train your Dragon 2" got excellent review, it premiered to 14% higher than the first film (which was a top 10 in year 2010), and it's production budget was smaller.

You would think that would be positive news, but investors are deserting the stock in droves because they were hoping for a better than 50% improvement.

It seems like investors are unrealistic sometimes.

How many dragons were maimed or killed or mistreated in the making of these films?

Only investors have unrealistic expectations? Sometimes the owners give the show away for a guaranteed return.

So investors were convinced that HTTYD#2 would do something similar. It's sort of a shame, since it was well reviewed and it will make over $600m. It's hard to view that as a failure. I guess the company was hoping for something stupendous since Mr Peabody did not do very well for that kind of movie.
