not only do I not remember dreams normally, if I do remember them by mid-morning I have completely forgotten them, and am just left knowing "wow I had some weird dreams". Normally. Sometimes a vivid one is remembered for days.

I still get dreams about being in college and it always involves taking or missing a critical final.

I think that one is common. I had that dream about graduate school exam for twenty years.

Also, I'm totally impressed with Face's dream interpretation skills. I think he missed his calling! :)

agree, I'm kind of scared to relate any of mine to him!

Thanks, both =) But worry not. Like I said, I can't really do it for someone; it's not going to give me a too-personal look into your psyche. I guess it's kind of like working out or quitting drugs. I can give tips and tools, but I can't do it for you.

About the only memorable and somewhat recurring dreams I have now involve me hurting my son. Always by a purposeful action, and almost always by striking him too hard that what would be called for or appropriate. The pain is the focus of this dream. How I hit him, why I hit him, where I hit them, those are all inconsequential details that change. The thing that remains the same and carries the most weight is the pain inflicted. To cause pain is the dream-thought purpose, and guilt for causing the pain is the dream-afterthought reaction.

Again, this is all to do with my now current custody issues. Between trying to supply the guidance from both the mom and the dad angle, as well as making the decisions that will completely change his future path, it's something I struggle with almost daily. When it reaches a head - boom. Twisted dream.
Be bold and risk defeat, or be cautious and encourage it.

I had a weird dream last night. It didn't really have a plot but kept wandering in search of one. At point point I was in a casino and looking at a new form of roulette. There were 38 eggs in one of those things you see in arcades where you try to grab a toy with a claw. However, in this case where was a fake chicken on top. When the dealer called "no more bets" then the chicken would cluck and one of the eggs would fall down a chute, the dealer would open it, and it would reveal the winning roulette number. Then the dealer, of course, placed the egg back in the pool, because roulette is a game of independent trials.

At this point my daughter woke me up saying, "Daddy, I just vomited."

Wow. Clearly we need Face to get going on this. I am clueless.

Too hilarious! Really? or did you just add that as a joke?

PS: I think you said you don't normally remember dreams. Now you're having no trouble and they are weird. Gotta be your present all-wound-up condition.

Me too, I'm curious about the Wizard's dream as well. Looks like we're gonna need Face's services to interpret this one though. :)

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who dreams of my teeth falling out. It is the worst kind of dream and I almost always wake up in a cold sweat with my hands in my mouth feeling for my teeth.....

There are many weird dreams and sometimes they are so vivid that I am actually afraid to tell anyone because I remember them in such HD quality. I also sometimes dream of making a movie. The ideas that come out of my head is just plain scary. Imagine Saw but like 500 times worse. I wake up feeling very bad about the whole thing and then I spend the rest of the day trying to figure out how I can make money from my dreams....That is the twisted part methinks :)

Wiz, I love that roulette idea. Not sure how well it will work for "clucks per hour" but I do love the premise.

Just woke up from a 20-min nap, but I had the strangest dream (although what made it so "strange" is that the dream itself wasn't strange or unusual at all). I was microwaving some food and then ate it. That's it! Probably the most uneventful dream I've had in a long time.

What made it so weird though is that—unlike most dreams—I remember it vividly, and it actually lasted for quite a while. Also, during the dream I didn't feel any anger, anxiety, or any other type of stress or emotion. I was just microwaving food and eating it. It would be like having a meaningless dream about taking a dump or something.....lol!

That really happened in the dream but I brought up that detail here because I thought it was amusing. This was also one of those dreams that you somewhat control yourself, and I'm sure I added that detail deliberately, as I'm very critical of badly-designed casino games.

I wouldn't read too much into two dreams. The Mindy Cohn one was very vivid and exceptional. However, I only wrote about the roulette/chicken dream because my daughter puked during the dream and informed me of that fact when she was done, right at the roulette part. I know a bunch of other events happened before, but I can't remember them.

Might go over well in California where they can't use a ball. If you make it big with my idea, just take me for a ride on your yacht sometime.
