Be bold and risk defeat, or be cautious and encourage it. |

I think this is correct. When I worked as a claims adjuster for Social Security I often had to deal with paternity issues. Anytime a gang banger was shot women would come out the woodwork claiming his illegitimate children. At the time, late eighties, the thinking in the courts was pretty much that the father is the father and it doesn't matter why. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |

Society no longer prohibits any anatomical reference more specific than "down there". Women now have control over their cycles at an amazingly high level and have economic and social alternatives to saying "yes". Yet the law still focuses on "support of the child" even though Bastardy is no longer a topic in our legal outlines. And the woman is giving discretion in how to spend the money. The child of a millionaire is not expected to eat government cheese or live in squalor. Its all based on percentage of income. Fair? No. But, as lawyers say, "its the law". |

I don't know about Australia, but I'm quite sure in the US he would have to pay child support. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |

With internet connections there may be a way for women to get the best of both worlds. Most women view men as a vibrator with rudimentary conversational skills anyway. |

Women view men like they always have, as a paycheck. Money and who's making it and how much is number one in marriage. It's the cause of most arguments and most divorces. http://www.myfinancialawareness.com/Topics%20Financial/Myth%20-%20Money%20is%20the%20Number%20One%20Cause%20of%20Divorce.htm "So what are the potential issues that manifest as money problems? Communication around money Power struggle over who controls the money Sabotage by spending money outside the budget by the one who feels that he/she has no power Lack of self-worth around having a low net worth Fear of not having enough" If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
