Single Zero Roulette

Soaring Eagle in mid MI has two double zero
roulette tables and two single zero. $5 mins
on all of them. The single zero has the en prison
rule on the outside bets.

I don't go very often because it's too far away.
I was there over the weekend and found the
double zero tables just as busy as the single.
To us, that's insanity, but not to your average
low info gambler.

The reasons I heard were: Green is the casino
number and it comes up more often if there
are 2 of them. Or, I lose every time I play one
of those 'weird' tables. Or, it just doesn't feel
right to have only one zero. Or, and this was
a big one, I just don't trust them, the numbers
that come up don't feel right.

And we wonder how casinos make money.
Most players are morons.

Americans are math-challenged. We taught math fine until the "new math" of the 1960s, since then it has been a mess. Common Core will make it even worse. Best thing to do is not fight the trend, figure how to make your own money from the suckers, and live out your life. Legend says (correct or not) Einstein remarked compound interestw as the most powerful force he ever saw. Had he lived to see the generational stupidity we have in the USA in 2014 he might have at least a close runner up.

I like to be charitable and say 'many' players are morons. Of course when you add a few of those free drinks into the equation wise decisions are not likely no matter what there intelligence level and knowledge of the game.

It is a lesser of two evils and I would have expected to hear excuses based on convenience or ignorance of the single zero wheel's existence.

I see somebody from this forum posted on WoV that I don't play roulette anymore. Nothing could be further from the truth. Michigan legalized online gambling this year and live roulette tables opened up in August. I play for at least 2 hours a day in several Michigan online casinos. It's absolutely wonderful. I might not ever go to a brick-and-mortar casino again. For many reasons, none of which I'm going to elaborate on, this is exactly what I wanted for the way I play. I hated Governor Gretchen Whitmer until she signed the bill that made gambling legal again. Now I love her. If she was divorced I would marry her. If I wasn't married already.

Could somebody please correct what they said about me on the other form? Thank you. If you must discuss me at least get it right.

I'm not a huge fan of Evolution Gaming but Playtech will be offering a live roulette soon also.
