You can't embezzle funds from yourself if you're self employed.
So forget it. Is that how Revel treats you, do they send hookers
in mink coats to your room and suites with 3 bathrooms?

Sure you can, if you are an S-corp.

I like to think I am more like Mahowny, a purist…which, now that I come to think of it, is a bad thing lol
Although beautiful, having someone pay for a woman to be with me seems cheap and not something I'd be into.
I realize that "you pay for it one way or another" with a woman, but I rather still enjoy the pursuit.

It's accurate for many gamblers. Accurate for casino operations too but in many ways, now applies to how many businesses operate sleazy yet we trust them only because we're not SURE they're sleazy how, when, and how often. Facebook, amazon, google, etc., we just don't know what they're doing behind our backs to cost us money.

Aside from the gambling, here is a real-life Owning Mahowny, even using add-on names (like Mahowny did with Perlin) at the casinos to withdraw funds

It never ceases to amaze how truly stupid some criminals can be. The "bodies" used their own names and identification and a relatively paltry half-million would be divvied up nearly 25 ways, with the (presumably) biggest cuts getting a 15 year vacation in the slammer? WTF!

These are the guys who pulled it off. 15 years
for half a mil? In the movie he stole 10 mil
and got 6 years.

It's not a sin to gamble, not in the Bible anyway.
What do you mean.

Slavery to sin means that the person wants to stop the destructive behavior but can't. They get no enjoyment in the activity anymore and loath it and themselves more and more every time they fall. They are like a slave wanting to be freed but his/her master is too strong and mean. This sick labor is literally and figuratively forced upon them by their sinful master.

This is also the reason why to free ourselves from any addiction we need God. We need a Higher Power than the sin, aka the master. We need a Django to truly unchain ourselves from sin and free us, His name is Jesus.

I didn't know Django was a noun, but thought it was a character in Django Unchained.

No offense Bob and The Padre but is this thread going to devolve into a religious discussion...
Neither of you will ever change the other's mind

But he wasn't sinning, he was gambling. There is
no such thing as sin anyway, and you can't prove
there is. It's cooked up nonsense to support a
religious agenda. It doesn't exist in the natural
universe.

The point of discussion is never to change someones
mind. It's to explore your beliefs and points. You do
it for yourself, never for the other person.

Then why do it out loud?
