When it comes to describing his own current work environment, he summed it up on Sunday in two words: "train wreck." If the poll asked to consider this phrase not emphasizing they meant it to be taken in an innocuous way, not explaining that to those who would know that it is connected to white supremacists, that they wanted it to be considered on its own merits [if they did], then it explains the results they got. Adams may be unaware of the connection. Apparently there is one, according to the wikipedia page on the matter, "It's okay to be white" (IOTBW) is a slogan which originated as part of an organized alt-right trolling campaign on the website 4chan's discussion board /pol/ in 2017.[1] A /pol/ user described it as a proof of concept that an otherwise innocuous message could be used maliciously to spark media backlash. " I didn't know this and I'm thinking Adams did not know this ... nor anyone here? We were massively manipulated on this !! https://www.cbsnews.com/news/scott-adams-dilbert-newspapers-cancelled-comic-strip/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/It%27s_okay_to_be_white I'm Still Standing, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah [it's an old guy chant for me] |

lol I wasnt If it came across my newsfeed I would ignore it. Its Rasmussen :-) Its like foxnews in my world. As soon as I see a foxnews article, my skepticism radar is on high alert Its feeble minded haters like Scott Adams that look for any validation of their views no matter how much BS evidence backs them Its the Tyler Durden effect He searches for anyrthing on the internet to validate his views regardles of the dubious nature of the source material including fantasy stats. Haters are constantly looking for hate validation. Its kind of sick. The only reason I know about this poll is to laugh at Scott Adams Yup Hes finally making me laugh :-) Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

I hate this kind of manipulation I'm Still Standing, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah [it's an old guy chant for me] |

Twitter is sound bite stuff which many people love, the posts there are limited to 280 characters. People love to put out some catchy phrase that blows away the other side of an argument. Instead of having an intelligent, reasonable discussion. It's a reflection of the modern world. The desire to make difficult issues look very simple. So no one has to think too hard when staking out their position. the foolish sayings of a rich man pass for words of wisdom by the fools around him |

Sounds reasonable…. except the only party that did so was the Democrat party in the mid 1800’s! I’m sure (I think I’m sure?) it’s going nowhere, but it certainly is a poke in the ribs to modern day Democrats. |

They're just making sure everyone is aware because their (left-leaning) operatives accuse others when they're really the ones being referred to. An example is accusing someone as being racist, that's not racist, but the person making the accusation is. It's a common deceptive pattern. |
