Probably because it has been true all of your life. We have many States that are lagging behind in infrastructure (and have been for decades). Many conservatives will say that it is their responsibility to fix it locally, but this is not true, there needs to be Federal Funds.

Like climate change. That Infrastructure plan includes more than $600 billion to tackle climate change, despite Biden admitting it isn't going to matter.

Because infrastructure constantly needs repair. You don't just pave a road and it stays perfect forever, it's an ongoing project. Not to mention the more frequent restripping (lanes warnings etc), sign replacement, pot hole filling. And, that is just roads. Infrastructure is something that is always ongoing, and as many States and Cities are underfunded, it almost always is constantly crumbling.

We pay gas taxes to maintain the roads. The bill Biden is pushing is just pork for his supporters in the political class. They always are.

You don’t have to hope. It happened last November. It will happen again. Ams is also right with his mean tweets comment. It is symptomatic of Trump. Not the disease itself.
