Gates said in 2000 that if you had told him in 1990 that we would be seeing web addresses in McD's commercials in 1997 he would have thought that person was crazy. He missed out on everything when he could have been in on the ground floor. Mark Twain said phones were a fad when asked to invest in them by Bell. He saw no use for them. Makes any of the misjudgments I've made in my life look like nothing in comparison. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

The early days were so primitive when you look back. Some people just did not see it. You had to be a real nerd pre-1995. Little images or sound and video was out of the question. Lots of people thought it was just a craze like CB radios. Now I am sitting at home in sweats working because of it. I would not be able to do 1/10 of what I do without it. The President is a fink. |

I killed on Ebay from 97-03 because of the slowness of antique dealers to catch onto the new fad of computers. I would go to gun shows, radio shows, flea markets, antique shows, auctions and these people would give me great stuff for 1/3 of what they could get on Ebay. By 2004 they were catching on and it was over for me. 2005 was my last big buy. Spent thousands on hundreds of old pocket watches that I tripled my money on. Those days are long gone.. They were brought there when there was no real threat, at great expense, and when it was over were given an unheated parking garage floor to sleep on. President Trump came to the rescue yesterday and opened his DC hotel to them. So Trump is already bailing out the Beijing Biden admin. The blowback was so bad today they sent Jill Biden to the troops for a photo op handing out cookies. lol . If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

This is what liberals think the troops are worth. Trump had nothing but respect for these guys. Liberals do not want them around them unless it is to pander for votes. The President is a fink. |

Makes for a much more competitive senate race that would have been safe for the GOP in 2022. Ohio GOP-ers are terrified Gym Jordan will win the primary for this seat. I think it is good. He would be 67-73 during his next term. Let a younger person get the job. I hate that we are surprised when a 67 year old does not seek re-election. As far as Democrat/Republican..... this is a definite win for the Democrats. Turns a 'safe' republican senator into a toss up. |

I hate that people are surprised when any politician or Secretary, etc decides to leave. Who wants to spend all that time in DC? Government is not supposed to be where you stay forever. In the words of Chuck Noll, get on with your life's work. The President is a fink. |
