Who cares Why do they need protection? I don't see them any more important then any run of the mill celebrity. Nobody cares who's paying to protect a celebrity. Who paid for Edwards protection when he abdicated the throne. Did he even have protection after abdicating? He moved to France. As long as my tax dollars are not spent on royal protection, I could care less Times have changed. Its absurd that your status in society is based on your parents. Why do they need protection? Too me, their only value to society is the ability to raise money for charity but just about every celebrity on the planet has that ability. I think in the 40's it was $10,000 pounds a year. £10,000 in 1940 is equivalent in purchasing power to about £532,128.71 in 2018 Two people can live pretty well today on half a million pounds. This one assaulted an officer and was released the same day. This one was arrested for assaulting three jewish women. She was released, and assaulted another the next day. Another Another Gun permit applications are now up 1,000 percent in the Hassidic community. This one robbed four banks and was released under the new law, because he didn’t show a weapon. After he was released, he said, “I can’t believe they let me out. What were they thinking?” A day later, he robbed a fifth bank. He will be released again, when he is captured. |
