Good. That means I'll have it tomorrow. And since it was still snowing here at 11a, 50* will be welcome. Be bold and risk defeat, or be cautious and encourage it. |

My home town is 964' ASL, but it resides in a valley. Once I get to work I'm at 2,200 feet, and I'm sure I get higher along the way. It's always crazy here. You know lake effect, but think - you get maybe 60 miles of weather crossing Lk Michigan. Maybe more if the wind comes from the north and crosses Superior. But I either get the remnants of Michigan and the entire length of Erie, or the entire length or Superior AND the entire length of Huron AND the width of Erie. Even during those 70* days, it wasn't over 50* on the lake shore. It's like a knife edge. One end of your yard is hot, the other end is freezing. That's a lot of cold water to cross. And even though it was 45* today, it's still freezing cold over the lake. A 30* swing in daytime highs sucks, but that's life here. Happens every year. And I challenge you to find one person here that hasn't had sunburn on Monday and woke up to snow on Tuesday =) Be bold and risk defeat, or be cautious and encourage it. |

Is it legal to exclude minorities from casinos in your area? All I saw was white people, customers and employees. Not one person who wasn't as white as Mayor Bloomberg. I thought it was 1957 all over gain. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
