Not surprising at all. Siberia is a huge place and very empty. Fires are a good thing, cleans out the deadwood.

missedhervee Member since: Apr 23, 2021 Threads: 160 Posts: 5497	It says the smoke is drifting to the arctic / north pole. I wonder whether that would trap heat, causing arctic temps to rise, or prevent the usual amount of sunlight from hitting the ground, causing them to fall?
