Of course we're the center of the universe. If the
universe is infinite in size in all directions, there is
no center and that makes everything the center.

Wherever you stand, that's the exact center of the
universe. There was an Indian tribe that understood
this completely. They would select a tree at random,
and worship it as the center of the universe.

Which of course it was.

Do we know it is still expanding? If the energy of the Big Bang has been expended that means it would have started to contract. This could have happened a few billion years ago but we would not know because what we can see billions of light years away is still what happened billions of years ago.

Expanding or not, it's still infinite and has no center.
The people in the video are making the typical
mistake of reverse engineering everything using
the limited amount of info we currently have. This
is always a bad move.

What has been found is the universe is expanding at an accelerating rate. This forces the need for dark matter and dark energy to help explain this condition.
