I kind of like this because I am in the same quadrant as Ghandi but I am pretty much right in the middle at the intersection of the two lines.

Just when I was about to crown myself, "Most Moderate," (How the Heck did that happen?) the most recent two people (Mooseton, FRGamble) have more Moderate scores.

My result doesn't surprise me, but I think the test is flawed. There needs to be a middle answer, "Neither agree or disagree" added. I would have chosen that one more than "Agree" or "Disagree". I also think the wording of some of the questions could be misleading.

How about this question? Do you think agreeing with this is conservative or liberal view or just a placebo?

Abstract art that doesn't represent anything shouldn't be considered art at all.

I think a lot of the questions could be interesting jumping off points for flamewars discussion.

I totally agree, I just couldn't fathom how one perceives art could push you into a political party.

My post on the subject was tongue-in-cheek, but you know damn well that's exactly where they wanted it to go.

Edit: and it's not about party, it's about ideology.

-5, -7.85. I've moved away from being reasonably moderate, it seems. I did answer more questions with "strongly" than I have in the past, I think because my opinions have been hardened by what I view as a more hard-line stance among those with whom I disagree. If you don't take a strong stance you get steamrollered, it seems.

I gave up in the face of fasle alternatives. For exmaple, a question on whether inflation or unemployment ought to be more improtant to "control," outright leaves out the option of having no government involvement either in money or employment.

I'm all for the separation of Church and State, but even more for the separation of Money and State.

Yeah I had a problem with this too. I should have been on the bottom somewhere but they put me near the middle of the bottom right quadrant.

It's extremely difficult - almost impossible - to get an accurate reflection with strongly agree...strongly disagree methodology. You wind up getting direction right but not degree, because almost nobody selects the "strongly" option with any frequency. A better version of this poll using the same questions would have allowed freeform answers on a 100 point scale with 0 being complete disagreement, 50 being neutrality, and 100 being complete agreement. If I had the question weightings, I'd offer to re-score the quizzes for our group. I think we'd all shift quite a bit, depending on how we each chose to define "strongly" when we took the quiz.

The worlds smallest political quiz is pretty good, it puts me on the top corner:

Though it is designed to identify good candidates for libertarianism.
