s2dbaker Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 13 Posts: 241 | The recent flooding in Colorado is having a positive effect on the water levels in Lake Powell: One foot in two days is a start but Lake Powell is still 110 feet below full pool (3700ft). The question for the poll is: What level do you think Lake Powell will be at on July 1st, 2014 (an arbitrary date chosen because its near the highest level for the year)? |

We take samples, Senators make speeches and various 'snapshots' are cited as "proof" of need. So I vote it will be at exactly today's level. |

"Predict an uncertain outcome based on what you think will happen" like sports betting. But if I post this over there, the troglodytes will turn it into an anti-global warming thread. For the record, I guess "At or Above 3625 but below 3650" because I'm an optimist. |

rxwine Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 189 Posts: 18755 | Since you asked, sorta Lake Mead Total inflows for water year 2013: 8,465,870 acre feet This is 139.28% of the September 15th (2012) average of 6,078,150 acre feet http://lakemead.water-data.com/ Las Vegas residents aren't in any current danger of drowning. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |
