Certain Jefferson die hards refuse to accept he fathered Sally's kids due to the wiggle room in previous DNA analysis. For example, the association that controls the cemetary at Monticello limits burials to Jefferson's descendants by his 2 legitimate daughters, and not descendants by Hemings. |

Must be flat earth society members There will always be individuals that can't deal with reality As of 9/12/26 , the cemetery changed its policy when Cedric Jessup Jr was burried there |

They may have changed their rules to allow a Black person buried there, but not the rule mandating descent from TJ's two daughters. Cedric Jessup descended from Martha Jefferson, a legititmate daughter of TJ. He was eligible regardless of his ancestry from the Hemings family. I agree the Monticello cemetary people need to accept reality. |

Probably bad or terrible but might look for reviews, Neil's portrayal would be interesting. "freed by love" sounds tone deaf She had a better lot than most slaves but ... bit 'but' here I'm Still Standing, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah [it's an old guy chant for me] |

The wikipedia article quotes this reviewer, "In a negative review appearing in Rolling Stone magazine, Peter Travers said: ... drops the ball with this droopy, snail-paced prigs-in-wigs movie. It doesn't help that Nick Nolte is such a lox as Thomas Jefferson ... [He] seems to think that playing an introspective man means impersonating a wax dummy."
