his lies don't even need to be a tiny bit plausible to suffice. His cult don't care and he doesn't care, because he no longer needs popularity. Attention andinfamy are fine.


To the reflecting pool: It was a somewhat defective pool for a while and has had money thrown at it before. Fixing it properly would have demanded so SO much skill and care and time and money. Careful contractors would have said "drive on it and we will go to the media and tell them who fsked it up"
Frankly, he could have left it alone or initiated expensive and slow repairs. That he had this hair brained botch job done put him on a hiding to nothing. A self destructive act of his own choosing. Tackling it was just an(other) insane act of vandalism.
