Where am I?

rdw4potus Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 10 Posts: 147 | I was going to post a pic, but it turns out that there's a theme in the pictures that I have that I'm actually in - they were taken specifically to prove that I was somewhere, so it's exceedingly obvious where I am. i.e. Me at Harrah's Joliet, with the sign in the background on purpose... Nice picture! Going by how green the ground is and lack of mountains, I'd say this was somewhere in the south-east. We can also see it is a Marine plane. I see the Marines have bases at: Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point -- Havelock, North Carolina Marine Corps Air Station New River -- Jacksonville, North Carolina Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort -- Beaufort, South Carolina If forced to pick just one, I'll go with Beaufort Air Station, because SC is flatter than NC. I think you are hanging out with this dog. Another photo of same plane but I don't know if it was taken at the same place. |

Awwww. That's Lilly. Same plane, not the same place (assuming that is in England somewhere). It is a North American T-6 Texan, known in that particular livery as an SNJ. No correct guesses yet, I'll answer before I go to bed. |

That photo was taken by a British photographer, but it was taken north of Seattle in Arlington. |

Warbird Adventures, Kissimmee, FL I've flown there twice, but only once paid for the in flight stills and video. Highly recommended. (The instructor ducks down for the photo.) |
