| missedhervee Member since: Apr 23, 2021 Threads: 160 Posts: 5484 | Lots of problems with the new engines: by that I mean car makers have downsized to turbocharged four cylinders instead of six or eight cylinder normally aspirated engines. Pumping out good power from small, highly stressed engines is a recipe for early failure, and that is what is being reported. Blown head gaskets in particular, and direct injection is causing huge issues with carbon build up on the valves. Me, I've been looking for a cream puff '06 or '07 Lexus LS 430:arguably one of the best modern cars ever built. |
