The Dow barely went up today, same with the other indices.

Still haven't looked at my daily results but I am certain the daily profit was less than the current cost of buying 1000 gallons of premium at Chevron: 1000 jX $6.70 per gallon = $6700.00.

But my point was and is that the "AI boom" is, while not unprecedented, the biggest factor in the market today, and but for Trump's Folly the results would be much, much sweeter indeed.

No doubt the fat oaf and his handlers will spin it so it looks like he alone is responsible for its current growth, but non-MAGA folks who refuse to drink the Kool-Aid can see clearly that such a claim would be a lie.

Speaking of, I was able to buy gas at 3.99 the other day. 100 miles away. Local, it's 4.43 to 4.79.

"holy schmoly", did you see this??

-NASDAQ: closed at another all time high today

-S&P 500: closed at another all time high today

-DOW: While it did not close at an all time high, intraday it was within 7 points of an all time high

Down today
Looks like a reaction to inflation coming in hot and gas prices continuing to rise
Scary times
We have a new Fed chairman
He may be beholden to Trump rather then the US economy
I liked Jerome Powell. He did what needed to be done to keep inflation in check
Will this next guy lower interest rates fueling more inflation listening to dumb Trump

Of course: Trump is going to bankrupt us, it's what he does.

Remember, this clown openly claimed recently that the financial situation of We, the People doesn't matter to him whatsoever.

He hides his contempt for us in plain sight.

It's telling that Mike Johnson won't let legislation come to a floor vote regarding this issue

There's nothing wrong with any politician simply trading in stocks / equities PROVIDED they dont use any "inside information" to steer them to a particular buy or sell at a particular time.
