I had to Google Jacobin as I have never heard that name before. I am pretty sure both the Right and the Left would be disappointed in me.

Last time I looked at a socialist site, was Social Security. I think OG may be the secret socialist.

googling it can be confusing with the stuff that first comes up. They were extreme, bloody-minded socialists, and the critics of the Left as it is today have been pointing out that our bunch are just exactly this

Not into blood, just broken bones. I was thinking of an alternative to the 3 strikes law (after SOOPOO showed no sympathy for people taken down by the 3 strikes law, and was wondering what would be a good alternative to an expensive term of locking up shoplifters who keep stealing -- I guess we could break their arms. It's the modern improvement to chopping off hands I guess)
