I thought prisons were meant to SAFELY remove the criminals from society, at theoretically the lowest cost, while protecting them from other prisoners and theoretically trying to rehabilitate them? I'm expecting to take a big hit - I won't sell, it's not my way - if it happens as I expect I will hope for a rebound that may take years

And if they begin hiring U.S. citizens for all of these low level jobs they will have to pay them a lot more.

And that will contribute to a much more inflationary economy

By the way…. good for you that you are95% in the market. You must actually be OVERCONFIDENT in Trump’s ability to lead the country. I on the other hand have been (very) slowly decreasing my stock exposure and increasing my bond/money market assets. Still around 80% in stocks though…

I appreciate the advice but I won't sell - that's timing the market which I don't do - I won't sell short either

I'm a buy and hold guy - have been for a very long time thru many downturns and I have done very well with buy and hold

so, I can't change now - it's not in my genes - I'll hang tight and hope for the best - maybe I'll live long enough to see a rebound if my prediction comes true

I of course do it just like you do with only very minor exceptions. Point being I can’t really tell if Trump will be bad or good for the market over his 4 years. I laugh at those that are ‘confident’ predicting it either going either way.
