I don’t. You’re the one talking silly. Or do you want to give some logical reason Biden will look better than Trump in history? Is a dei vp hire impressive or something? War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |

You are such an optimist. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

Biden will go down as a disaster. Setting the country up for the second Trump Presidency. Had he exited with grace much earlier, or actually FROM THE BEGINNING of his Presidency made it clear he was a one termer, the Dems could have had a real primary with (anyone but Harris) as their PRIMARY WINNER. Many dismiss the calling of Harris a DEI candidate, but I’m guessing she was the first appointed candidate who no one voted for? And the Dems were flat out afraid of picking ‘a white guy’. Anyone who disagrees is just fooling himself. Harris did worse than Biden virtually everywhere, in every demographic, in every way. That’s what Biden left for his party with his quick Harris endorsement. |

Did anyone vote for Gerald Ford when he became VP? |

No. But he did win a primary to run against Jimmy Carter. He received votes from real people to get the nomination. He became President when Nixon resigned. Just as Harris can rightfully become President if Biden resigns. My point, which it appears you missed, was that Harris was appointed the Democrat nominee without a vote of voters (not Delegates), Ford had to beat Reagan in a primary. |

Here's my quoting the Wizard. Harris was a good bet, just didn't have a good outcome. I'm pretty sure the party was out there trying to second guess everything in such an unusual situation, and Harris probably did follow the best advice they gave from more senior members. They didn't have a previous plan, so they winged it. It didn't work out. We tried to play a hand we never had before. Not like there was a roadmap. Hindsight is still 20/20/ "Trumpsplain (def.) explaining absolute nonsense said by TRUMP. |
