This hurts my brain. I am no fan of either, but Harris wiped the floor with Trump.

A few points…. I do believe the ‘moderators’ did not present an unbiased slant. It was quite easy to tell they had disdain for Trump, and were clearly pro Harris. One specific example was when Trump made the (stupid) comment about the Haitians eating pets in Ohio, the moderator said ‘it’s not true, we asked the city commissioner and he said it’s not true!’ Like a city official will say, ‘sure, we are overrun with 20,000 illegals. Lock up your cats and dogs..!’ My point being it is NOT up to a ‘moderator’ to discern the veracity of any statement. Should the moderator have asked Harris where she is going to magically find the $50,000 EACH she was going to give to ANYONE starting a small business? Etc….

I truly believe if you picked someone like me to represent Trump’s general ideas, I could have easily beaten Harris in that debate. I d have just hammered on the ‘why haven’t you and Biden done ANY of these things in the last 3.5 years you are saying you will do in the next 4? And avoided calling her dumb. And avoided trying to paint pro-abortion people as after birth baby murderers. And admitting I lost the last election but the country sees the results of inflation from Democrat policies. Etc…

As bad as Trump did, I don’t think the debate moves the needle much. I will say this, he did NOT seem old and feeble like Biden did. He is just addled.

First poll I saw shows a one point gain for both of them. Overnight polls not so reliable so going to be days until we see better results.

I went to bed early because I knew it would be a biased, 3-on-1 thing like it always ends up. Kamala was afraid for FNC to moderate a debate so this is going to be it.

One thing I heard is ABC is taking a hit for the joke of a debate they hosted. More and more people will be in bed early like I did if this bias keeps up over the years.

I am completely okay with fact checking by moderators, especially lies so incredulous as to appear to have no connection to facts. Outrageous lies should not go unchallenged by rational people in something as important as a Presidential election.

That’s a legit question to ask-asking a candidate to give policy specifics. That’s not fact checking. And can you point to any lies Kamala said on par with post-birth abortions and pet eating Haitians?

I expect a city official to tell the truth. Do you have any reason to doubt the truthfulness of the city manager’s statement? As for the Haitians being illegal, you are aware that they are legal immigrants, allowed to live and work here as Temporary Protected Persons?

For better or for worse, you are not a candidate for President or elected office. Perhaps a second career, now that you are retired : )? For better or for worse, Donny is the GOP candidate for Presdident, and Donny and Donny alone is the one who speaks for Donny. And with Donny, what we see is what we get. I didn't watch so can you please advise if they fact checked Kamala's positions on gun grabbing and fracking? Both seem to have changed as of late.
