We have to go thru this again. As English is not your first language I have to remind you that you do not read everything literal in English. In this case “can’t compete” does not mean they cannot enter a competition it means they will rarely if ever win or even place high. Because men are bigger and stronger than women we divide most sports by gender.

Why? If they are male they should compete with men, if women they should compete with women. That is a binary and unchangable status. You are the one asking so maybe you should look them up?

To me that is a terrible reason. Should blondes only compete against blondes? Should 5'10" people only compete against 5'10" people? Using gender as a basis is just as arbitrary.
