The only energy stock that I own is Duke Energy. I have had it about 5 years and I bought it at $100. It is currently $112. A 12% profit after 5 years is not my best investment.

Too be honest
Most of my money is in a managed fund based on 2030 retirement and a index a fund.
I'm assuming I own some oil transportation stocks in the index fund. That's like a little peice of everything in the market

What profit?

$1 today is worth 23% less than it was five years ago. In real terms, you've taken a nearly 10% loss on the investment.

Some of that loss is offset by the 4% annual dividend.

I don't understand how anybody could watch the convention coverage last night and think, gee whiz, I sure am glad I'm a Democrat. What are three ring circus embarrassment. It was a perfect ending to have Captain poopy pants up there screaming at us for an hour and stumbling bumbling over half of his words. With the audience chanting we love Joe and Nancy Pelosi, who's personally responsible for getting rid of him, chanting right along with the rest of them. What a bunch of obvious hypocrites. Insiders say Joe Biden will probably never speak to her again. He should have never spoken to her in the first place.
