Well, I admit I do not know that detail. I do know it was a disaster no matter who did it. And it will be a disaster if tried again.

It's a disaster everywhere it's been tried, even the liberal media is saying that. They must be afraid that she would actually be stupid enough to do it.

The problem is it always sounds good to the uninformed. They think people will just sell at a loss. They think you can just lower prices by magic.

So righties admit Donny won’t magically be able to lower prices like he claims at his weird ramble rallies.

Recently, both parties injected trillions beginning with C19.

I estimate they debased the currency by about 40%.

So prices, all things considered equal, will gravitate 40% higher before the crash.



One thing Trump can do to break out of this, is to pay down debt with Oil & Gas production.

I mean really flood the markets.

Hammer the bids all the way to $30 per barrel, etc.


He also needs to sell assets and downsize government.

And eliminate donations to other countries.

US oil production is a an all time high. Natural gas production is near last year's all time high.

Prices are up because it costs more to produce both due to new regulations.

If we flood the market, other oil producing nations will only cut back on their own production to keep the prices high.

US oil refineries were and are designed to refine imported heavy sour oil, originally from Mexico, Canada and Venezuela. They were and are not designed and built to refine the light sweet crude from domestic wells. Furthermore, the infrastructure is undersized to transport domestic oil from its well to the refineries. But the infrastructure is there to transport imported oil from ports to the refineries. In addition, increasing emphasis on renewable energy generation makes investments in refineries and oil infrastructure less profitable. So it's a combination of economics, infrastructure and chemistry.

There is so much natural gas produced, usually as a byproduct of oil mining, that the NG is usually flared off to be disposed of instead of captured and sold. It is literala a waste product. There is no more storage capacity to store it all. There is no more pipeline capacity to move it all.

And, so far, I haven't heard Donny nor Kamala address the above. All we get are platitude about "energy independence" and "drill, baby, drill". Well, we already pump more oil than we can use, but can't use much of it because our refineries are old and outdated and need heavy sour imported crude.

Shutting down Keystone didn't help to encourage investment in new pipelines..
