OMG, the libbies are now trying to stage a coup and overturn an election!
I swear you can't make this stuff up lol 🤣🤣🤣

Biden keeps saying he won’t step aside — but Democrats aren’t listening

Joe Biden is their duly elected presidential nominee, but do the libbies care??? Nope!
The libbies don't care about the will of the people and they think a COUP against the president is the answer?!?
Grab the popcorn...who knows what these treasonous libbies will do next! 😂😂

Well, he introduced Zelensky as President Putin, but otherwise it went well so far today. News conference has not started yet.

He's not making it easy on those of us who want to support him to the very end...

Sometimes you can MacGyver a solution. I’m guessing all the top Democrats already have all the inside information, so they know what’s going to happen one way or other.

I don’t know how you can fix someone who is getting too old and showing more and more signs of it. At least that’s the way it seems.

At least we’re not a month out with this going on.

My mother recently died at 81 1/2 years old. She was a college educated, career professional, round Italian woman, with heart disease, diabetes, slight kidney disease and bad degenerative arthritis that damaged her joints so badly that she barely left her room the last 3 years (she took pandemic shelter-at-home recommendations to heart!), and left the house only for scheduled appointments such as doctor's visits, hair salon, family functions, etc. He mind was still sharp as a tack up until she had her heart attack. Indeed, she had the presence of mind to call on her cellphone for help while she was in the throws of her cardiac event. Based on the condition of her cabeza alone, I would've voted for her for President. My father is still alive at 82 years old. Retired accountant, CPA, MBA, EA and all that. Had a successful career running not one but two different offices of a Big Six accounting firm. 10 years ago ro so, had to stop running marathons and triathlons due to musculoskeletal degeneration that impaired his full mobility. Even coronary bypass surgery with 7 blockages didn't slow him down. He caught COVID 3 times, once before they even knew what COVID was. He says himself he's sometimes "loses his words", due to long COVID. Now this was a man who was educated and erudite and spoke intelligently. Based on him self-admitting "losing his words", I would not vote for him as President.

I don't know which camp Uncle Joe is in. I can overlook malapropisms and stuttering, especially when compared with the deranged extremism that Donny and his cohorts say. But if Joe's mind isn't working well...

We will find out tonight.

I'm glad I don't have to decide this either way.

If I knew that he can make it successfully with a beating heart through the White House door, I'd be fine. I have yet to see Bernie Sanders have bad mental episodes or Anthony Fauci, and they are both older at 82 just for comparison.

One answer I really didn't like was the idea that even if he did a cognitive test, it wouldn't be enough, and people would ask for more proof. Even so, that's a terrible reason. Because he should be able to pass any other legit presidential test. No one is going to give him an engineering test or some other unnecessary skill to be president.

edit =even though age and US citizen are the only requirements, we expect most candidates to demonstrate certain skillsets.

I was trying to find out more about the variety of cognitive impairment disorders as some people retain good function of particular activities. For instance, Glenn Campbell retained his ability to perform for quite a while even as his ability to do other things declined. I came across the term "script" activities, but I don't know if that is really an official term or more a concept. Some activities can survive especially if they are attached to strong emotions.

I was wondering if Biden's long history as a politician could be enhanced by emotional attachments to the activity, whereas his decline in other areas proceeds. Perhaps that's why he is so uneven at times, but who knows. Just an idea.
