I think she's a loyal sychophant: is it a coincidence that her office is in Bedminster, NJ, the home of the Trump National Golf Club?

I think not...

Throughout his presidency from 2016 to 2020, Trump used his Bedminster Trump National Golf Club as his vacation spot and his second home, dubbed his safe haven.

For her sake, hope she got her fees up front. Donnie has a history of stiffing his lawyers,

I can see both of Trump's tiny hands. Probably why she's still smiling. Trump has a look like the photog is unwelcome.

As a retired attorney I can safely say that in my 40 years of practicing law I never came as close to screwing up a client's case as she has.

My god...totally inexcusable.

But then again, would a NYC jury have shown him kindness?

By report Donnie burned those bridges long ago.

"Alina Habba, one of the attorneys representing Trump in the case, said Trump wanted a jury in the case.

"I know my client did want a jury, and we did want that," she said.

She did not explain why they did not ask for one."

Oh Boy Oh Boy, Oh Boy. This has to be the biggest and silliest cock up since Rudi did a presentation at the Four Seasons carpark.

Was that the sort of cock up that will see trump suing his own lawyer for dereliction of duty? Will he use it in his inevitable appeal? Will he cry when he receives his legal bill?

According to her, Trump wanted a trial by jury. Yet, she checked the box that says 'Trial Without Jury'.

Did Trump post this on his account? One would hope Jesus has better things to do.

Well, the funniest news of the day is that this isn’t a jury trial because Donny’s bimbo lawyer forgot to check a box.

Indeed, seems to be true. According to BusinessInsider

Former President Donald Trump was entitled to receive a jury trial in his New York civil fraud case.
And while he himself wanted a trial by jury, his attorneys didn't correctly fill out court paperwork.
Instead, Trump will receive a bench trial solely decided by a judge he's repeatedly attacked.

Attacking that judge personally could prove an expensive decision.
Pity the judge didn't send him to the cells for contempt at arriving 8 minutes late. There's time yet. I might actually watch the televised bits of the trial..

Now. trump wants to be there to grandstand to his followers. Every word will likely cost him $$$ He really might be advised to STFU

"I object your honour"
"What? To your own council?"

If that's true and the attacks took place prior to this court action, then his attorneys should file a Motion to Recuse pursuant to 28 USC 455 which states that a judge must recuse himself, or herself, from any proceeding in which that judge's impartiality might reasonably be questioned.

Of course, if these attacks took place AFTER this case was initiated, then it wouldn't matter. Otherwise, you could simply verbally attack a judge all the time, demand they be recused, then just attack the new one and delay cases indefinitely just by attacking all the judges.

There would also be the question of whether or not anything Trump said about this judge, even if prior to the action, is sufficient to call into question the judge's impartiality. The judge would almost certainly say not, but then, depending on how the case goes, you could preserve the question of the judge's impartiality for appeal.

All in theory, of course. Motions to Recuse are rare, are generally unsuccessful and cases are usually not reversed and remanded, on appeal, pursuant to a judge denying his or her own recusal motion.

Before she became Trump's lawyer, she was general counsel for a parking garage company. After a series of legal reshufflings, she was pushed aside from his criminal entanglements and asked to make TV appearances on behalf of MAGA, Inc. and to assist in the defense during his NY civil action. She left her law firm to start her own firm, representing Trump and filing suit after suit against Hillary, Facebook, Michael Cohen and others. To date, she hasn't won any and has been sanction by Federal judges at least once.

Bimbo? Maybe. Her TV appearances are one cringefest after another. She's certainly telegenic, but she drank the Trump Kool-Aid and dove head first into the deep end of the MAGA pool.

(Clipped, quote-in-quote removed)

I can't imagine any of those were done on a contingency fee basis. If the qualities of being a woman and representing a client who you know will probably lose are sufficient to make one a bimbo, then I suppose there are simply many bimbo attorneys out there.

*breaking news*

Judge Engoron just ordered a gag order on Donald Trump for posting a false personal attack on the judge's clerk, attorney Allison Greenfield.
