People don't want the truth, they want entertainment and opinions that match their own. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

That’s the main reason Fox News became successful I believe. However news that people watch based on ratings is probably one of the worst ideas ever. Not sure I know how to fix it though. Maybe news should be funded through entertainment shows, no self-funding by ratings. Maybe the world would be better without any opinion news shows at all. Just straight news.
