Nothing is special about the year 2000, other than rounding the time span after the Birth of Christ. Then 11 days were skipped related to the Gregorian calendar change. However, if you want to select an arbitrary date, like 1/1/2000, then something astronomically significant might have occurred on that date. I'd look at the solar system state on birth date and current date, if I were trying to find a pattern between times, since the solar system is in sync with the Time Keeper (not our minds). The solar system is a huge clock. Another option would be to find something astronomically significant on 1/1/2000. |
